The Clarice

Culturally rich performances and programs take place each season in the fascinating theatrical halls of the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center based at the University of Maryland College Park. The 318,000-square-foot structure is the foundation for six performance venues and a vibrant community of artists, students and expert instructors who give life to artistry and expression on and off the stage. Approximately 1,000 events are featured each year spanning all performing arts disciplines. Transformative workshops, lectures, dialogues and other events draw audiences to see the company’s vast artistic talent.
